On the threshold of the Arbaeen of Imam al-Husayn (a), hearts are restless in remembrance of the leader of the Karbala caravan, and souls long for union. A precious opportunity has arisen to dedicate our knowledge and learning in the service of the Arbaeen pilgrims and to elevate the culture of Aba Abd-Allah al-Husayn (a). Today, we are honored to gather in the school of love and sacrifice to renew our covenant with the Master of Martyrs (a). We, the professors and scholars of this land, inspired by the example of Imam al-Husayn (a) and relying on God Almighty, pledge to further illuminate the path of truth-seekers with the light of knowledge and, through our academic contributions, take a step toward realizing the ideals of Imam al-Husayn (a). May this Nadhr serve as a bridge between knowledge and faith, and a blessed beginning to strengthen the unity and cohesion of the Muslim ummah and Shia communities worldwide.
