One of the objectives of this academic institution, alongside its educational, cultural, and training missions, is to provide social services to the community. Through research, studies, and the design of technological programs, universities and women academics can transform voluntary activities into organized and institutionalized initiatives.

In this context, the Faculty of Engineering at Al-Zahra University has developed a platform entitled “Scientific and Social Service Platform for Women Participating in Arbaeen,” dedicated to the integrated management of services for millions of pilgrims during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.

This initiative highlights the important role of women academics in transforming voluntary activities into organized and professional initiatives through awareness-raising, technical, technological, and consulting programs. These programs also play an important role in promoting health awareness and providing healthcare services and social support to pilgrims.
